Are you an experienced HR Business Partner? We are looking for someone to join our team in London to help support the delivery of our people strategy and business plan by delivering professional, flexible and creative HR business partnering. 

In this role you will work closely with our Business Unit leaders to provide consultancy and implement best practice HR solutions whilst championing the firms’ strategic imperatives.

This role includes supporting HR Advisors to give advice and guidance that covers all operational aspects of HR. You will be involved in project work determined by our HR team priorities. 

Travel between offices may be required from time to time.

What will your role look like?

  • Supporting the delivery of first-class HR solutions, policy and advice
  • Partnering with leaders to provide consultant that supports the delivery and development of our people plan
  • Use of facilitation, coaching and mentoring techniques to support people mangers and build capability in that group
  • Influencing and supporting business unit leaders to build and implement both career planning frameworks and succession plans
  • Supporting employee engagement to drive business performance
  • Understanding employee retention to support the creation of interventions when required
  • Supporting the management of workplace conflict and dispute resolution, in line with our values
  • Supporting the delivery of wellbeing, DEI and reward initiatives including our annual salary review process
  • Leading to ensure that transactional HR work is completed at the right level within the available HR Advisor and HR Assistant group as appropriate
  • Understanding our key HRBP deliverables and work with our HR team specialisms to delivery high quality and joined up HR solutions
  • To understand firm, business unit and HR priorities and ensure that HRBP time is balanced and managed across these sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Adhering to the firm's Information Security and GDPR standards, policies and procedures.

The Candidate

  • Ability to use initiative and make decisions with minimum guidance
  • Ability to take ownership of issues, seeing through to resolution and able to escalate when required.
  • Ability to problem solve and present alternative solutions
  • Demonstrates consultant skills to influence and persuade at senior level
  • Ability to interpret data and use this to make decisions
  • Demonstrable success of building effective working relationships effectively
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and contributing to projects in order to deliver successful outcomes
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead meetings

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience within an HR Business Partner role, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR/People Systems
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law
  • Appreciation of change management principles
