The Role:
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the rest of the payroll team and HR to support in the processing and payment of staff payroll. You will be an enthusiastic and focused individual who can work effectively as part of a team, using your own initiative when required. You will have an excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
Processing of end-to-end monthly payroll
Assisting with calculation and submission of monthly and tax year end PAYE to HMRC
Processing of payroll benefits
Dealing with queries and requests in relation to payroll, pensions, and benefits
Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls
Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Completion of month end payroll reports
Cover for Payroll Manager
Providing guidance to junior members of the team
Produce and maintain documentation
Keep up with payroll best practices – continuous development
Skills & Experience:
CIPP qualification desirable
Practical payroll experience – ability to explain PAYE and calculations
RTI and auto-enrolment exposure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in use of payroll systems, experience of Access People XD advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience in implementing process and system improvements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential

What personal information do we collect?
We will collect the following information about you in connection with your interest in or application for employment, membership or engagement with the firm:

We use your personal information for the following purposes:
· In connection with your application to the firm. We hold your personal information because we need it to process your application for the role you have applied for, as well as be able to report and monitor the progress of candidates through each stage of recruitment.

Sharing your personal information with others
